MS Orientation Recap — #Simon16

The past few weeks have been very busy and exciting around Simon as we welcomed our MS students to campus for orientation!

Our international students came to Rochester the week of July 18 and were welcomed by Dean Andrew Ainslie.

Over the course of the week, students were introduced to important offices around campus, attended networking sessions, and participated in workshops about conducting business in American culture.

During the week of July 25, the entire MS Class of 2017 spent the week getting to know Simon together. Dean Ainslie kicked off the first day with a welcome, alongside Rebekah Lewin, assistant dean of admissions and financial aid. There were Career Management Center workshops, student leadership presentations, teamwork activities, and more. On Monday there was an ice cream social, and on Thursday students enjoyed a bus tour around Rochester to get acquainted with their new city. The tour concluded with a social hour at the Rochester Museum & Science Center.
