If you’re considering a full-time MBA degree, please join us for Diversity Conference Week—a series of webinars and virtual events scheduled during Simon’s school-wide, weeklong celebration of our diverse community that will educate both our Simon family and prospective students and elevate discussion around DEI issues. Courageous Conversations: When We Rise: Elevating LGBT+ Narratives

This session is hosted by Simon’s Graduate Business Council, the Diversity, Equity & Inclusion Center of Excellence, and Simon Spectrum club and will focus on enabling participants to build their skills and understanding around issues of diversity and inclusion as they relate to the LGBT+ community—a skill desired by many companies. This event will include MBA Simon Spectrum members who will speak to aspects of the LGBT+ community/experience they wish had greater awareness. Following the panel, you will be grouped with other prospective students in breakout rooms where student moderators will facilitate dialogue in a safe space around the LGBT+ narratives discussed in the event.

Finding the Human Denominator – Moving from a Judging Mindset to an Open Mindset

We all find ourselves in situations where a voice in our head tells us to make a snap judgment. While that instinct aims to protect us, it can also lead us to draw the wrong conclusion and close us off to diversity of thought and of the people around us. Join Andrea Holland, executive communications coach, for strategies to think about difference in a positive way and value diversity in your day-to-day interactions with coworkers, friends, and acquaintances.

Happy Hour with Consortium Current MBA Students and Alumni – Ask Anything!

Join us for a virtual happy hour with current and former Consortium MBAs to learn about the benefits of Consortium membership, the Simon MBA experience, and our support for students of color pursuing a graduate business degree. We are prioritizing participation for candidates who are applying to the full-time MBA program through The Consortium for Graduate Study in Management.
