We Welcome our January 2013 entry Students

On behalf of the Simon MBA/MS Admissions Office – Happy New Year!  This week we are excited to welcome incoming full-time MBA, MS and Exchange students to the Simon School for January 2013 entry and orientation.  Here’s an early look at the incoming class:

  • We expect to enroll just over 40 Full-time MBA students and 9 MS or Exchange students.
  • Within this cohort, 19 countries of origin are represented including Azerbaijan, Chile, Dominican Republic, France, Ghana, India, Indonesia, Jamaica, Japan, Kazakhstan, Mexico, Pakistan, Peoples’ Republic of China, Saudi Arabia, South Korea, Syria, the USA, Uzbekistan, and Venezuela.  What a diverse group of incoming students!
  • Students have a wide variety of industry and company backgrounds with prior work experience at a number of top companies including Aon Hewitt, Bank of Nova Scotia, Deloitte Consulting, Ericsson, Hewlett Packard, General Electric, JP Morgan Chase, PricewaterhouseCoopers, Procter & Gamble, Roswell Park Cancer Institute, SMBC, and US Bank.
  • Members of the class have academic backgrounds that are wide-ranging and include such areas as accounting, biology, business, communications, computer science, economics, engineering, law, linguistics, political science, and Spanish.

We extend a warm welcome into the Simon community and best wishes as students begin Business school classes next week!
