Update from Simon Admissions

Greetings from Rochester!  We’ve survived one of the warmest and windiest weeks on record in the area this past week – the warm was great, the windy left many of us without power.  Thankfully, we still have power at Simon, so we are busy reviewing applications, interviewing candidates and making admission decisions.  In fact, we are scheduled to have our Early Action decisions go out between now and next Tuesday – for those with a completed application for the November 1st deadline.  If you expected a decision by that date and for some reason don’t receive one, please give us 2-3 days and then email to admissions@simon.rochester.edu and we will check your status and try to provide a determination of when you will hear from us.

We’ve almost completed our orientation programming for the MBA and MS students who started their studies with us last week.  Their schedule included VISION programming, CMC activities, social events, and a Math review course for students who needed a refresher.  Classes have now started and we’re busily underway with our winter quarter of study.  Today we’re hosting our 3rd Business Simulation Competition with 12 finalists and I will provide an update in my next blog with the results of the Competition.  Students have been competing for scholarships to attend the Simon School.

Stay tuned and best wishes for good news from the Admissions Committee!
