A. I am the Associate Director of Admissions.  My responsibilities center around recruitment of prospective MBA and MS students, most specifically Consortium for Graduate Study in Management MBA students as well as Masters students (All full-time Masters programs except MS Finance).  My role involves recruitment travel, candidate application review and interviewing as well as selection of candidates while sitting on the Admissions Committee.  I also have the pleasure of overseeing the Simon Ambassadors program, working closely with current student volunteers on admissions-related initiatives.

A. 8 years

Q. Where did you work prior to Simon?
A. I worked in hospitality (hotel) management for 8 years before becoming a full-time mom and part-time medical secretary (for 6 years).

Q. What do you like most about your job?
A. Everything!  Where else can you travel the world to meet highly intelligent, business-minded prospective students and get to know them even better when they become matriculated Simon students?  These are individuals who are eager to consume a ridiculous amount of intellectual capital from world-renowned faculty while at the same time embracing the cultural diversity of their peers and working hard to become superior “networkers”, appropriately across many cultures.  Ultimately, they become successful Simon alums, helping to shape the future of our global business environment.  I am able to reconnect with many alums through their assistance at on and off-campus recruiting events.  I truly can say that I have friends all across the world!

Q. Fun fact about you?
A. Come have a conversation with me and I’ll tell you…

Q. If you could recommend a “uniquely Rochester experience” to prospective students what would it be?
