Business Simulation competition results

On Friday, January 11th, twelve finalists came to the Simon School campus to compete in the third and final round of the Simon Business Simulation.  The finalists were prospective students, who had successfully completed two prior rounds of running their own online business.  Contestants were evaulated in the initial rounds on how their marketing, operations, finance, and strategic decisions impacted market share, sales, and profits.

In the final round, each candidate gave a presentation on the results of their work in the earlier rounds, and also completed two evaluative interviews.  After much deliberation by the judges, we are pleased to announce that Steven Pepe has been named the top contestant for the 2007-08 Simon Business Simulation.  The other 6 finalists named were: Douglas Bennett, Brian Clancy, Ruiting Liang, Michael Sung, Christopher Tytler, and Nikola Vukovic.  Finalists were awarded scholarships toward attending the Simon School for M.S. or M.B.A. study and must apply for admission consideration within the next two years.
