Simon School Admissions Office Announces Essay Prompts for 2014 Full-Time Application

As we approach the launch of the 2014 application, we are giving candidates an early look at the essay topics so that you can begin gathering your thoughts and ideas of how to answer them.   This is an important way for us to get to know you and we encourage you to think carefully about how to best share yourself with the MBA Admissions Committee.  Please note that these are the essay topics for the Full-time MBA and MS programs only.

Essay 1:  Describe your short-term and long-term goals for post-MBA or post-MS.  Given the fluctuation of economic and industry hiring trends, please identify a back-up plan should your short-term goal not be immediately attainable. How does your past education and experience support your career objectives?  What aspects of the Simon School program make it a good choice for your graduate study? (250-500 word limit)

Essay 2: In 25 words or less, provide us with a fun fact about you. (25 word limit)

Essay 3 (Optional): Share any information that you think is important in the evaluation of your application, including any concerns you think the Admissions Committee may have regarding your application. (500 word limit)

Please pay special attention to the multi-part questions in essay #1 and also the expectations for word limits.
