About the Speaker

Roland A. Caputo was named Sr. VP and CFO for The New York Times Media Group in November 2008. With this role, Mr. Caputo is responsible for the financial functions at The New York Times, nytimes.com, and The International Herald Tribune. Previously, Mr. Caputo had served as vice president and chief financial officer for the newspaper since January 2006. Mr. Caputo holds a B.A. in economics, magna cum laude, from the State University of New York (SUNY) and an M.B.A. in finance and applied economics from the University of Rochester.
