NEW: Simon Student Series

The Simon Admissions Office is excited to present the Simon Student Series. This new blog series, written entirely by Simon students, will unveil personal perspectives not found on our website or brochures. Students will offer insights into why they chose Simon, what they have enjoyed about their Simon experience and advice for prospective students. Without further ado, below is the first installment of the Simon Student Series, written by Mikayla Hart, MBA ‘16. Enjoy!

I started my two-year MBA program a little over a month ago, and I could not be happier with my choice of attending Simon Business School. The communication and support I received throughout the admissions process far surpassed that of any other school in which I was applying. I really enjoyed all of the events Simon hosted during the admissions process, such as Experience Simon Weekend, which brought applicants to campus and provided an opportunity to experience the school’s culture. Witnessing the close-knit environment of the Simon community confirmed my belief that it was the right school for me.

Since accepting Simon’s offer, I have also been pleasantly surprised with the school’s contact and preparation for a couple events I participated in this summer. The Consortium Orientation Program and Forté Women’s Leadership Conference were both multi-day conferences and career fairs I attended before the start of classes. The assistance, resources, and network I received from Simon were remarkable. Thanks to this support, I arrived at these conferences with confidence and was able to start networking and interviewing for summer 2015 internships.

I am very grateful for Simon’s dedicated staff and mentors, and their help in this process. I begin my MBA program feeling confident and ready to take on the next steps!
