Holiday Greetings from Simon Admissions!

Ur_library_at_night Holiday Greetings from the Simon School Admissions Team!  We’ve been a little quiet in our blogging the past few weeks and you may wonder why?  We’re extra busy this year reading early action and round 1 applications and we have also been completing interviews for some of the applicants from each of these two groups.

It’s also been quiet here on campus now that our current students are away on a holiday break.  Fall quarter classes ended in mid-December and we are now preparing for our January 2008 cohort of students who will begin orientation and classes in just a few days.  We expect to enroll just over 50 full-time MBA students, and almost 20 additional exchange students from the University of Chile and KAIST (Korea Advanced Institute of Science & Technology) in South Korea.  These exchange programs allow students who are already completing graduate study with their home institution to join us for a brief period of study at the Simon School.

Stay tuned for more from our team on life at Simon, happenings around the Rochester community, and information on upcoming admissions events in our posts scheduled for early 2008!  Until then, all the best as you plan your New Year’s resolutions….we hope that one of your resolutions is to focus your efforts on joining the Simon community – don’t forget our September 2008 deadline on January 8th for full-time M.B.A. and M.S. applicants.
