Four Reasons We’re Thankful at Simon

Here in the United States we are approaching the Thanksgiving holiday—a time when we pause and reflect on what enriches our lives. After a difficult year, we thought it also might be a good opportunity to think about what we are most thankful for about Simon, so here are a few reasons we feel grateful today and every day:

  • Our students. Simon students continuously impress and inspire us—they are exceptionally bright, hard-working, involved, and committed to making an impact on our community. This year our students have shown us their remarkable ability to innovate, adapt, and persevere despite unprecedented challenges, and we couldn’t be prouder of all they have accomplished.
  • Our faculty. At Simon, you will work one-on-one with thought leaders in finance, accounting, economics, management, and marketing. Our faculty are currently offering a mix of in-person and online classes to meet every student’s needs, further demonstrating their commitment to providing a rigorous, high-quality graduate business education.
  • Our location. Rochester, New York, is a great place to pursue a graduate business degree. You will be a one-hour flight away from New York City and other major metros and enjoy affordable cost of living—a two-bedroom apartment in a complex is roughly $750 per month. Plus, you’ll get to experience four seasons and all the beauty each has to offer.
  • Our impact. There are numerous ways for you to lead—not only in the Simon community but also in the greater Rochester community as well. Whether it’s participating in Simon Volunteers’ annual Secret Santa program, which helps 100 local families annually, or getting involved in PIECES, an educational equity program with Rochester City School District, the Simon family is committed to making a difference.

Our next application deadline is January 5, but if you’re ready to take the next step toward your future career, don’t wait—apply now! Here’s one more thing to be thankful for: if you apply by November 29 at 11:59 p.m. EST, your application fee (a $90 value) is waived!

We wish you the best as the year comes to a close, and as always, we are here to support you every step of the way through the application process, so don’t hesitate to contact us with any questions.

P.S. If you’re interested in a Simon MS degree, there is a special opportunity available to begin your MS studies sooner, in January 2021. If you’re interested in this option, please reach out to us for next steps.
