2008 Financial Times Rankings

Ur_quad_2  The Simon School is again ranked amomg the world’s top business schools by the Financial Times (FT) of London.  In its January 28th issue, FT ranked Simon 22nd among U.S. business schools for the second straight year and 47th among the world’s top 100 business schools.  We have been among the top-30 business schools in the U.S. for all 10 years since the survey’s inception.

In specialty areas, the FT survey ranks Simon 3rd in finance, 4th in managerial economics, 4th in accounting, and 8th in statistics.  We improved in several areas including: salary today, weighted salary, aims achieved,  percentage of alumni employed at three months post-graduation, percentage of female and international faculty, and doctoral rank.

While we are pleased to one again be ranked among the top business schools in the U.S. and the world, we remain committed to a process of continuous improvement in keeping with our University of Rochester motto, Meliora or "ever better".  Our ultimate goal is to continue to provide our students with the highest possible return on their educational investment with us.
